Instructions
Prepare the apples: Remove the cores and chop apples into 1-inch pieces.
Mix the filling: In a large bowl, combine the apples, maple syrup, lemon juice, and water. Transfer to a baking dish and spread evenly.
Make the topping: In the same bowl, stir together the oats, flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
Assemble & bake: Dollop the topping over the apples and spread gently with your fingertips. Place the dish in your air fryer, set to 350°F, and bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned and bubbly. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
