Ingredients

Filling Ingredients

  • 3 C chopped apples Fuji or Honey Crisp
  • ¼ C maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon water

Topping Ingredients

  • ½ C quick oats
  • ½ C all purpose baking flour I use GF
  • ¼ C coconut sugar can substitute with brown sugar
  • ½ t cinnamon can omit if desired
  • ½ C butter softened

Instructions

  • Prepare the apples: Remove the cores and chop apples into 1-inch pieces.
  • Mix the filling: In a large bowl, combine the apples, maple syrup, lemon juice, and water. Transfer to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Make the topping: In the same bowl, stir together the oats, flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  • Assemble & bake: Dollop the topping over the apples and spread gently with your fingertips. Place the dish in your air fryer, set to 350°F, and bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned and bubbly. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
