Ingredients
4fresh ripe peaches
4tablespoonsbutter
4tablespoonsmaple syrup
½cupchopped walnuts
Pinchof cinnamonoptional
Pinchof sea salt
* Optional: vanilla yogurt or ice cream for serving
Instructions
Cut the peaches horizontally in half keeping the skin on.
Brown the butter: In a small skillet over medium heat, continually whisk the butter until it foams and turns golden brown with a nutty aroma (about 4–5 minutes). Remove from heat.
Prep the peaches: Place peach halves in a small air fryer-safe dish (or line the air fryer basket with foil). Sprinkle with cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
Top the peaches: Spoon browned butter over each half, sprinkle with walnuts, and drizzle with maple syrup.
Air fry: Choose the "air fryer mode" and cook for 10–12 minutes, or until peaches are fork tender and walnuts are lightly toasted. Serve: Enjoy warm as-is or topped with yogurt or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
First, be sure to use ripe but firm peaches so they hold their shape while baking.
Next, use real butter and stir frequently while browning to avoid burning.
Also, don’t overcrowd the air fryer; make sure there’s room around each peach for even cooking.
Lastly, for easier cleanup, line the air fryer basket with foil before baking.
