Ingredients
1regular size frozen pie crustnot deep dish (Gluten Free or Regular both work well)
3eggs
1Cwhole or 2% milkor heavy cream
2Cshredded cheese of your choice - my favorite is a medium cheddar cheese
1Ccup sausagebrowned, ham - cooked & chopped, bacon - cooked & chopped, vegetables (chopped spinach, red, yellow, or orange peppers)
⅛CflourGluten Free or Regular both work well
¼tpepper
½tsalt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place the pie crust on a baking sheet. To prevent the bottom from puffing up, gently prick the bottom and sides with a fork. Bake unfilled for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl combine the eggs, milk or cream, shredded cheese, flour, pepper, & salt. Whisk these ingredients together.
Stir in 1 C fillings of your choice (meat and/or veggies) to the egg mixture.
Pour the filling into the pie crust then spread out the fillings evenly with a spoon.
Bake 40-50 minutes or until crust is slightly browned and the quiche is firm to the touch.

Tips for Success
*To avoid over-browning your crust, loosely cover it with foil if it gets too dark before the quiche is fully baked.*Choose vegetables that aren’t high in water content—like tomatoes or zucchini—as they can make the quiche soggy.*Don’t over bake. The quiche should be slightly firm to the touch in the center but still creamy.
