¾Call purpose baking flourI use GF
½Ccoconut sugarcan substitute with brown sugar

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, combine the blackberries, maple syrup, lemon juice and cornstarch. Pour this mixture into an 8X8 (or slightly smaller) glass baking dish and spread out evenly.
In the same bowl, combine oats, flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir together with a spoon.
Add the softened butter and mix until the topping forms a crumbly dough.
Dollop the topping evenly over the berries and gently spread using your fingertips.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the topping is lightly golden and the filling is bubbly. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
Optional: Serve with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or even a drizzle of cold heavy cream.
Notes
Note: King Arthur gluten-free all-purpose flour works well in this recipe. Just make sure your flour has xanthan gum to help bind the dough.
